Join the Ategi Team as a Shared Lives Co-ordinator

Working in Southwark and the surrounding areas including Croydon, Lambeth and Greenwich

Salary FTE based on 36.5hrs p/w: £27,777 to £30,062 per annum depending on experience & location (pro-rata 30hrs per week)

Funded by Southwark Local Authority

Job details:

· Part time (30 hours per week) – Monday to Friday

· Flexible working options, including Hybrid Working.

· Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards completing level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

Ategi is a not-for-profit organisation operating Shared Lives Schemes across the south of England and South Wales, enabling people to live as independently as possible by providing personalised, community-based, person-centred care, making a real difference in people’s lives.

The successful candidate will be resilient and empathetic, have excellent administration & communication skills, while being confident to develop positive work relationships with a wide range of individuals, groups and stakeholders.

You will have the ability to work under pressure, to co-ordinate, monitor and assist our shared lives carers who support individuals that have a variety of long term conditions. As a shared lives co-ordinator, you will work closely with shared lives carers to provide support and guidance, monitor service delivery standards and ensure that the carer works in line with relevant codes of practice and other relevant legislation.

Join the Ategi Team as a Support Worker

Based in Cardiff

Salary: Specialised service hourly rate £14.06 per hour

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an individual who is committed, dedicated, and passionate to make a meaningful impact while contributing to the well-being of others in a professional and supportive environment.

Ategi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to become a valued member of our dedicated and stable team;

· You will support a young adult with a variety of support needs including Autism, intellectual disability, epilepsy and non-verbal childhood ADHD. This gentleman enjoys swimming, water play, arts & craft, eating out, gym and bikes. He dislikes crowded places and being disturbed while doing activities.

· Varied working patterns & flexible hours are available including evening shifts and weekends (16 to 24 hours per week).

· Level 2 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards.

· A minimum of 1 year experience in Health & Social Care and working with individuals with Autism is essential.

· A car driver who is willing to use their own car for work and travel when necessary (individual has his own mobility vehicle as well).

Join the Ategi Team as a Temporary Team Leader/Support Worker

(One role FTE 39 hours per week)

Based in Cardiff

Salary :Part time Team Leader- 16 hrs per week pro-rata FTE: £29,879 per annum/£14.69 per hour

Part time Support Worker-23 hrs per week /14.06 per hour

This is a combined role which is an interesting, varied & rewarding opportunity for a committed individual who is looking to progress their career and take on a new challenge.

Job details:

· Full Time (39 hours): (This is a combined role with 16 hours per week as a Team Leader and the balance working hours to perform as a support worker)

· Essential Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care

· Proven knowledge and experience in an Administrative setting to assist the team with administrative support

You will provide hands on support plus in the role of Team Leader work alongside the Service Manager to assist in managing the team while working with the individual we support within the philosophy, procedures and established values of Ategi.

You will be the family link, ensuring the individual we support participates in society through a lifestyle based on personal choice. As a team leader, you will work alongside the Service Manager and colleagues to prepare and monitor support plans, to assist in supporting the individual to develop and experience new opportunities within the wider community.

You will promote the standards for effective team working to enhance staff contribution to the service and to act as a role model, rota management is a priority, ensuring your team work together to fulfill the delivery of contracted hours.
