Sheleagh takes the icy plunge to raise money for Ategi
We’re thrilled to share that Sheleagh, Ategi's Fundraising Manager, has completed her challenge and took the plunge – quite literally – to support one of Ategi’s supported living projects, Ty Cornel. Braving the icy waters at Barry Island, Sheleagh jumped into the freezing cold sea to raise vital funds that will directly benefit the people we support living in Ty Cornel - one of our Supported Housing arrangements.
A big thank you goes to Helen Whitfield, a former Ategi Trustee, and the Watchtower Waders for supporting Sheleagh on the day! Your enthusiasm and encouragement knows no bounds - and the hot drinks and biscuits helped too!
Thanks to Sheleagh’s chilly adventure and the generosity of those who have donated, we’re able to make an even bigger impact in the lives of the individuals we work with. Sheleagh managed to raise a fantastic £240 for Ategi. These funds will help provide much-needed resources and opportunities, ensuring that the people we support can live fulfilling, independent lives. A huge thank you to Sheleagh for her bravery and to everyone who has contributed to this heartwarming cause. If you’d like to join in and support this amazing effort, there’s still time to donate – together, we can make a real difference!
