Fundraise your way

You have the power to ensure that adults with additional needs get the care and support that they need to live their best lives, their way.

Fundraising for Ategi is a rewarding way to get involved and support our vital work. Whether you take on a personal challenge or organise your own fundraiser, you'll make a big difference.

Could you do some fundraising for Ategi?

Darren joined Ategi as a volunteer when he heard about our Support Circles project. Darren has run two fundraisers for us; a cake sale and a "Name the teddy" competition. The teddy she used, now called Althen, is Ategi's mascot and has pride in place in the Ategi head office.

"I always wanted to be a fundraiser. I have lots of ideas for charity fundraising" - Darren

Why we need your support

Every year Ategi helps over 300 adults who need specific, individually tailored support, to enable them to live their lives as independently as possible. We work to continuously improve our services and trial new ways of doing things. Social care budgets are tight, and spending has to be prioritised.

100% of your donation will pay to help people with support needs to live a full and independent life.

Trevor has been supported by Ategi for 16 years.

Your donation will help people like Trevor

Before being supported by Ategi, Trevor had no sense of self-worth, no identity in his community, his appearance was unkempt and he was not welcome in most places. He lived alone and had no visitors. He would refuse his medication for epilepsy attacks and was labelled as aggressive by the Police, Social Services and the Ambulance Service. Ategi began supporting Trevor in 2006 and worked with him to gain his confidence and trust. He began to develop a sense of self-worth and he is now proud of who he is.

How do our services benefit people?

At Ategi, we support each person as an individual, enabling them to develop their skills and confidence and increase their independence. People may need support for lots of different reasons, and the type of support they need will vary from person to person.
