Whilst the sector is often known for unsustainable working hours and high levels of turnover, here at Ategi we do our best to ensure our staff strikes the right balance between work and personal life. For this reason, we have excellent family friendly policies and flexible working arrangements to help our teams get the best of both worlds. We have many staff who have worked for Ategi for a considerable number of years.

Join our team of support workers

Our support workers support people in their homes and their community, and work on a variety of shift patterns and hours. They make a huge difference in helping people take control and live their lives and are rewarded by what they achieve as well as our great pay and benefits.

Our office based roles

Ategi have a wide variety of job roles from administration to fundraising, communications to finance, to support roles. Our Shared Lives Coordinators support and supervise independent Shared Lives carers who support people in their own homes.

Our Shared Lives carers are not employees - they are self-employed people who support people from their own home.  Like a foster-carer who supports adults rather than children.  

Maybe you're already a carer for a family member, you might already have care experience, or just a passion for supporting people and a willingness to learn.
