Trustee Spotlight: Dave
This Trustee Week, we're excited to introduce Dave Latham, one of Ategi’s newest trustees. With a background that took a complete pivot mid-career, Dave brings a refreshing, holistic perspective to our board.
Originally a carpenter, Dave realised he wanted a career with more personal impact. This led him to pursue an anatomy and physiology course, where he discovered a passion for complementary therapies and rehabilitation. Since then, he’s trained in sports massage and earned a degree in complementary therapies, working as an activity practitioner to support individuals’ health and wellbeing and he's currently studying for a Masters in Dementia.
Dave’s focus on person-centred care is rooted in his belief in holistic health, aligning well with Ategi’s strengths-based approach and values. His hands-on experience in therapy and wellness drives his commitment to enhancing services that help others thrive.
We’re thrilled to have Dave’s unique expertise on our team as we work together to empower those we support to lead fulfilling lives.
In his spare time, Dave likes to go cold water swimming!
