Dan Evans

Trustee

Dan is a marketing and behavioural-science expert with senior leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. He has led national programmes focused on health, wellbeing and behaviour change, combining public health evidence with creative communication to deliver impact on issues including smoking cessation and healthy weight.

Outside work, Dan has been a sea kayaker for over 25 years, exploring coastlines across the UK. He is Coaching Officer for Llynfi Valley Paddlers, Wales’ first Insport Gold-accredited kayaking club, and an advocate for inclusive paddlesport.

Dan is also an active member of Paddle Cymru’s Coaching, Safety and Leadership Sub-group, supporting the development of paddlesport and coaching in Wales.

As a trustee, Dan brings his expertise in communication, inclusion and behaviour change to support Ategi’s vision of helping people live their best lives, their way.

Lynn Longland

Head of Human Resources

Lynn has worked in health & social care for over 15 years, previously for an organisation that supports adults with autism. As part of the Senior Management Team, she enjoys working across and getting involved in all areas of human resources.

Joe Bavington

Shared Lives Locality Manager – England

Joe is our Shared Lives Locality Manager for England, bringing extensive experience from the charity sector. He has led Learning Centres, Coffee Shops, Supported Living services and a Shared Lives scheme, and draws on his teacher training to champion learning, development and high-quality support across Ategi’s services.

Erika James

Trustee

Erika has worked for over five years in the third sector helping deliver a person-centred, empowering approach to employment.

Richard Cox

Head of Services

Richard started working with Ategi as the Registered Manager of Shared Lives Wales in 2020, before becoming the Head of Quality & Compliance in 2021 and Head of Services in 2024.

Jill Davies

Chair of the Board of Trustees

Jill's expertise is in people development, specialising in leadership and management, team building, executive coaching and business development.

Supported Living Locality Manager

The focus in Gail's role is to make a difference to everyone’s lives who comes into Supported Living or Community Support.

Trustee

Connor has spent the last 7 years working in the third sector and has led a regional older person’s charity as its Chief Officer for the last 5 years.

Karen Thomas

Head of Administration and Company Secretary

Karen works with the trustees and executive team of Ategi to ensure the good governance of the organisation and that Ategi complies with company and charitable law.
